The Practical Artisan works on projects day and night in his basement workshop. Sometimes his inventions aim to perform a specific function. Other times, he explores the creative potential of new materials and methods. But most importantly, he always has fun.

Michael Bergman learns something new every day. Interested in mechanisms big and small, his habit for curiosity started as a kid. At fourteen years old, he built his own motorbike. After graduating from Cornell University with a BA in government and a BS in electrical engineering, he went on to earn a JD from Suffolk University Law School.
